Training of Front-Line Officers at Velanai
A training programme was organized for front-line officers (mostly Development Officers) of Velanai DS Division on 30 Nov’21. The program was conducted at the conference hall of the divisional secretariat. The topic was ‘results-based monitoring’ (RBM). The facilitator was Dr.R. Pushpakaanthan, Professional Consultant and Senior Lecturer. There were 30 active participants. The topics included the fundamentals of RBM with the tools required for monitoring efficiently. The participants were totally absorbed into the program and said that ‘it has been such a training that would not very easily get out of mind even if one wished since it touched the fundamentals of the day to day work.
