About Us
The Centre for Child Development [CFCD], is registered at the National Secretariat for Non-Governmental Organizations as a national nongovernmental organization and carries out activities since the year 2000.
CFCD is currently engaged in many activities Jaffna, Mullaitheivu, Kilinochchi, Mannar & Vavuniya districts in the Northern Province. Livelihood, educational support, capacity building training, youth and women skill & knowledge empowerment training, activities to minimize or eliminate violence against women & children, emergency response & micro-credit are the main activities currently being carried out with the support of various national, and international organizations and individual donors. The above projects are intended to support community development, helps to reduce the impact of disaster & build resilience, and actively contribute to the network which works to protect and promote women’s and child’s rights.
