The meeting between Ceylon Students Education Fund and their sponsored children
The Murugapoopathy, the president of Ceylon Students Education Fund in Australia visited the CFCD office in Jaffna on the 30th of June 2023. He discussed with the staff of CFCD to know the well-being of their sponsored children.
Then on the 1st of July, Mr. Murugapoopathy met 52 children who were sponsored by them in Jaffna. The event was held in the auditorium, Kachchari, Jaffna. Mr. Murugapoopathy had a brief individual chat with each child to know about their well-being and handed over their 06-month sponsorship payment. Mr. Murugapoopathy had lunch with the children whom he invited for this event.
The Additional District Secretary, and the divisional Child Right Protection Officers were also among the invitees, Mr. Murugaiya, a few journalists, Mr. K. Suseendran the President of CFCD also were present in the Jaffna event.
A similar event was also held at the Visuwamadu Skill Development Center for the children of the Mullaitheivu and Kilinochchi districts.
