Support to Women’s Group
CFCD is implementing a project titled “Support for Social Cohesion of Resettled Communities ” Funded by the Royal Norway Embassy (RNE) through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP). The target areas are Tellipalai, Uduvil, Chankanai, Kopay and Sandilipay DS Divisions.
A group of women in the Tharaka women’s society got together and used their own manual sewing machines to produce clothing as their livelihood activity, now supported by the above UNDP project (02 – sewing machines & an over-log machine) to increase their productivity.
