Skill development center – Child first UK -House
In the year 2014, Child First UK started to support the library, which was managed by the CFCD, at the Visuwamadu junction in the Puthukudiyiruppu (PTK) division, Mullitheivu. The building of the library was very old and raised concerns for the safety of the books during rainy days.
In the year 2015, CFCD started to build a building with three floors. The computer training classroom, library, office cum stationary sales outlet, and prayer room are arranged on the ground floor. The 2nd floor is exclusively for educational and music classes. The 3rd floor is an auditorium, that can accommodate approx. 500 people. The building was ceremonially opened on 19th July 2019, by Ms. Rupawathy Keetheswaran, Government Agent, Mullaitheivu.
