Women empowering on awareness raising about property rights, civic rights, and GBV
Selected members of CBOs and youth clubs, selected beneficiaries, and a few government officers were expected participants. This training was arranged to enhance the knowledge of selected CBO activists with the expectation that they shall impart the learned knowledge to
the community. The ‘thesavalamai’ drew more attention and was discussed in-depth, equally, the existing laws in Sri Lanka related to SGBV.
There were two training held one in Kopay and the other in Chankanai, 70 beneficiaries [ M-31, F-39 ] benefited from this activity.
